Victoria Attractions Royal
& McPherson Theatres The Royal Theatre opened in 1913 as a privately
built and operated roadhouse. It has seen many of this century's great performers
on its stage, including Sarah Bernhardt, Carlos Montoya, Mikhail Baryshnikov and
Luciano Pavarotti. The McPherson Playhouse - Proscenium theatre, single balcony
plus two side boxes, conventional seating. Art
Gallery The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is one of Canada's finest
art museums with a permanent collection of 15,000 objets d'art. Gallery information,

Royal
BC Museum Renowned for its special exhibits, this is one of the finest
museums in Canada. The Royal BC Museum rewards visitors with a magical journey
through BC's history. Two intriguing floors of exhibits bring the past to life.
Imax
Theatre National Geographic Theatre adjoins the Royal British Columbia
museum. Six storey high screen with 12,000 watts of digital surround sound. T-Rex
- Back to the Cretaceous; India: Kingdom of the Tiger; Whales; and Jane Goodall's
Wild Chimpanzees are now on at the Imax. Butchart
Gardens World famous and when you see them you'll understand why.
A must see. There is also the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific, Hatley Castle
Gardens, and Government House Gardens that should not be missed either. Pacific

Emily
Carr House Explore Emily Carr House, an interpretive site dedicated
to the life and work of one of Canada's most renowned author and painter. Parliament
Buildings This historic building is well worth a visit. Designed by
Frances Mawson Rattenbury, there are free guided tours of the parliament buildings.
Victoria
Bug Zoo A very interesting collection of live insects. You will get
the most out of this visit if you wait for the tour. Butterfly
Gardens Hundreds of incredible butterflies flying free in the indoor
rainforest environment - birds and fish are here too. Fort
Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse Park-like setting with the oldest
lighthouse on the Pacific coast and great ocean views. Abkhazi
Garden TLC The Land Conservancy of BC Interesting garden created
