~ I'm just sending an email to say what a great time we had staying at your bed and breakfast. It was easily the best and friendliest place that we stayed at in Canada. It was a lovely way to finish up our holiday and we will remember it fondly.

~ Our farewell to Victoria is reluctant but grateful - good-bye to water airports, off-shore Orca pods, whining sea gulls, Butterfly Gardens, odd houseboats with moose-cycles, Vietnamese spicy ginger beef, high tea ("pinky-up" kind), mighty thighs from Galloping Goose - Sooke Potholes bike rides, lolling seals, puttering water taxis …. But an especially fond farewell to you, Barb and Lorne and to sunny Eggs Benedict and eating mangos in the mist! Will stay fresh and squeaky clean with your Goats Milk Soap for another week or so. Thank you! And long-live free range chickens!
